Still Strong
Date: 1992 Season
Even after dominating the National League from 1984–1988, Dwight Gooden still had more to prove. Doc in the 1990s was still a formidable foe. He earned 54 wins between 1990–1993. The final month of the 1992 season saw Gooden pitch at least seven innings in all seven starts, including a complete game one-hitter against the division-winning Pittsburgh Pirates in his final start of the year.
