Buck Passes Lasorda

Starling Marte and Eduardo Escobar each hit home runs and Carlos Carrasco struck out eight and pitched into the 6th inning as the Mets defeated the Texas Rangers at home, 4-1. With the win, Mets manager Buck Showalter became the 21st manager to earn 1,600 wins as he passed Tommy Lasorda on the all-time list.
