There were a lot of expectations for Carlos Beltrán when he signed a big free agent contract in 2005. Boy did he deliver! In parts of seven seasons with the Mets, Beltrán was named an All-Star five times, he won two Silver Sluggers and three Gold Gloves. Arguably the greatest center fielder in team history, Carlos Beltrán was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2026.
