On July 7, 2007 (7/7/07) Carlos Beltrán had the go-ahead RBI in the 17th inning to lift the Mets to a 5-3 win over the Houston Astros on the road. Beltrán also made a game-saving catch in the 14th inning (7 times two) on Tal’s Hill at Minute Maid Park to extend the game. It was Beltrán’s only hit of the game, a 1-for-7 night. This autographed bat Beltrán used during the 2007 season, a year in which he won a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger for a second consecutive year.
