ALL-STAR REGULAR
Date: 2005-2007
In his Hall of Fame career, Carlos Beltran was named an All-Star nine times, five of which came with the Mets. Like most big games, Beltran came up big – he had at least one hit in all four games in which he participated as a Met and sported a career .389 average in the Mid-Summer Classic. Beltran was elected a starter in 2005 in Detroit (along with Mike Piazza), 2006 in Pittsburgh (along with David Wright and Jose Reyes) and 2007 in San Francisco (with Wright and Reyes). Beltran was again elected in 2009, but was unable to play and then returned to the game in 2011 in Phoenix as a starter with Reyes (not pictured).
