A Blue-Haired Walk-Off

When Francisco Lindor was traded to the Mets in 2021 he immediately dyed his hair blue to celebrate his new team. Lindor was still sporting the blue locks to start the next season when his walk-off single in the 10th inning lifted the Mets to a 5-4 win over the San Francisco Giants. It was the second clutch hit for Lindor as his two-out double in the 5th inning that tied the game at 4-4. “Pretty cool, feels good, whenever you’re in the position that everybody’s running to you, it feels special. It feels good to turn around and see everybody coming,” Lindor said.
