Playoff Win over the Padres

Jacob deGrom struck out eight in six innings as the Mets defeated the San Diego Padres at home, 7-3, to even their National League Wild Card Series at 1-1. Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso each homered to lead the Mets. It was the first Mets playoff win since Game 3 of the 2015 World Series. In what would become his final start with the Mets, deGrom used this ball in a 2nd inning at bat with Jake Cronenworth.
