Wright’s First All-Star Game

Wearing this jersey, David Wright appeared in his first of ultimately seven All-Star Games. Wright got the starting nod at third base and went 1-for-3 with a scorching line-drive home run off AL starter Kenny Rogers. Despite Wright’s impressive performance, the NL lost the game, 3-2. But he would be back for more All-Star glory soon enough.
