The 2004 season included several commemorative campaigns by the Mets, as shown by the patches and stitching on this David Wright road jersey. A blue and orange patch celebrated Shea Stadium’s 40th anniversary, while other markers paid tribute to the passing of two franchise legends: broadcaster Bob Murphy and pitcher Tug McGraw.
