Venezuelan Proud

A proud native of Venezuela, Johan Santana made sure to represent his homeland on his special night. Santana was the fourth Venezuelan to toss a no-hitter and the national newspaper ran a page one photo of the lefthander with the headline “¡Bravo Gocho!” a reference to his home region in the Andes mountains.
