The Face of Intensity

When the New York Mets traded for two-time Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana just before the 2008 season, they expected that he would provide moments just like his 2012 no-hitter. While injuries partially derailed the plan, Santana was still a dominant force in Queens. He posted double-digit wins each season between 2008-2010, led the NL in ERA and innings pitched in 2008 and was named an NL All-Star in 2009.
