Johan Santana threw the first Mets no-hitter in franchise history during the team’s 50th anniversary season in 2012. The team preserved his locker nameplate from that memorable season. In a complete game, 134-pitch effort, Santana recorded 8 strikeouts and kept the St. Louis Cardinals off the board. The Mets won at home, 8-0.
