Despite tossing a no-hitter, Johan Santana struggled with his command at times, including giving up a number of hard-hit balls that found Mets gloves. This ball was hit by Cardinals slugger Allen Craig to deep center field to lead off the 2nd inning, but was hauled in by Kirk Nieuwenhuis. “It was a crazy night – my fastball moving all over the place,” Santana said. “I don’t think I’ve ever even thrown a no-hitter in video games.”
