Seats No. 13 and 14 From Shea Stadium

These third-deck blue seats were installed during the 1980 season, replacing the wooden seats that dated back to Shea Stadium’s opening in 1964. New ownership, led by Nelson Doubleday and President and CEO Fred Wilpon, looked to improve the fan experience at Shea. “It’s part of the job,” Wilpon said. “Because unless you attend to details, things won’t get done.”
