Rod Gaspar 1970 Topps Baseball Card

Rookie Rod Gaspar appeared in 118 games for the Mets in 1969, plus six in the postseason. Gaspar’s rise to the Big Leagues was so quick that Topps likely didn’t have time to get a 1969 card printed for him. It didn’t slow the rookie down, though. Gaspar notably scored the winning run at Shea Stadium in Game 4 of the World Series.
