EXTRA! EXTRA! METS WIN GAME 4 OF ’69 WS
In Game 4 of the 1969 World Series, the Mets pulled out a 2-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles at home. The low-scoring, 10-inning affair was a pitchers’ duel between Mike Cuellar and the O’s bullpen and Tom Seaver, who earned the complete game win. New York Post reporter Maury Allen kept detailed notes in a scorebook.
