Bud Harrelson first wore a Mets uniform in 1965 and became a fan favorite during his 13-year stint in New York. The SS showed out in the Mets’ first-ever postseason appearance, Game 1 of the 1969 NLCS, by hitting a 2-run triple and scoring a run himself.
