Mets Wear 9/11 Jersey Patches

Mets players and coaches paid tribute to the victims and heroes of the 9/11 attacks in many different ways on September 21, 2001. The Mets wore these patches on their jerseys during the game against the Atlanta Braves, the first MLB game in New York City following the terrorist attacks.
