Lindsey Nelson Mets Hall of Fame Plaque

Veteran NBC and college football broadcaster Lindsey Nelson was the lead broadcaster for the franchise’s first 16 seasons. Lindsey, along with Bob Murphy and Ralph Kiner, took turns calling Mets games on television and radio. Beloved by Mets fans, Lindsey’s contributions to the game were recognized in 1988 when he earned the Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
