Bud Harrelson gave Jerry Koosman some words of encouragement on the bump during an outing in the 1973 World Series. The Mets defeated the Oakland Athletics in both games that Koosman started. He twirled a gem in Game 5, notching 4 Ks and allowing no runs before his exit in the 7th inning.
