Champions!: 1969 World Series Scorecard

The Amazin’ Mets are world champions! With a Game 5 victory in the 1969 World Series, the Mets officially assumed the title. They won over the Baltimore Orioles at home, 5-3. Before scoreboards with lots of bells and whistles, fans would often use a scorecard to keep score on their own up in the stands. It probably felt pretty good to write in “Koosman” as the winning pitcher!
