Frazier’s Blasts Sends Mets to Historic Win

New Jersey native Todd Frazier hit two home runs as the Mets defeated the visiting Milwaukee Brewers, 6-5. With the win, the Mets won nine in a row and became the first NYC-based team to start a season 11-1 since the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers. “We’ve had a lot of heroes in [these] games, whether it’s the pitching staff or a hitter coming up big,” Frazier said, “and we’ve just got to keep it rolling.” Frazier was such an early success that he graced the cover of the next edition of “Mets Magazine.”
