Jerry Koosman Mets Hall of Fame Plaque

Jerry Koosman made his major league debut in 1967, joining a young but promising Mets pitching staff. Building on his All-Star nods in 1968 and 1969, Koosman helped pitch the Mets to a World Series championship in 1969, winning the clinching Game 5. He had success in the 1973 World Series, as well, though the Mets fell short of victory. Koosman won 140 games as a Met over 12 seasons.
