Dillon’s Mets Debut

Steve Dillon made his major league debut with the Mets late in the 1963 season, pitching 1 2/3 innings during a 9-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. He came up for two more outings in 1964. The Yonkers-born pitcher retired from baseball in 1965 and later worked as a New York City policeman for 20 years.
