Take a peek at the steady southpaw who helped the Mets win the 1969 World Series. Jerry Koosman left his name all over franchise history, including the record books. In recognition of his contributions, the Mets will retire his no. 36 in 2020. Koosman is the fifth Met so honored, joining Mets legends Casey Stengel, Gil Hodges, Tom Seaver and Mike Piazza.
