Take a peek at the steady southpaw who helped the Mets win the 1969 World Series. Jerry Koosman left his name all over franchise history and the record books. In recognition of his contributions, the Mets retired his no. 36 in 2021. Koosman was the fifth Met so honored, joining Mets legends Casey Stengel, Gil Hodges, Tom Seaver and Mike Piazza.
