More Thor: Game-Used Ball 2019 Opening Day

On the 2019 home opener, the Citi Field faithful got to meet Pete Alonso for the first time. Alonso manned first base and watched Noah Syndergaard pitch this baseball in the 3rd inning to Washington Nationals star Victor Robles. Ultimately, Robles hit a foul pop to Alonso. “Thor” Syndergaard allowed only one hit and struck out six over six innings but came up on the short end of a 4-0 Washington win.
