The First Mets Home Run Leader 
Date: 1962 to 1964
Traded to the Mets before their inaugural 1962 season, Frank Thomas led the struggling club with 34 home runs and 94 RBIs. He would tally 52 round-trippers for the Mets before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 1964.
