Mets Sweep Dodgers in June 1969

The Mets hosted and swept the LA Dodgers in a three-game series in early June. Ed Kranepool sent 2 home runs over the fences in the June 3 game to help the Mets win, 5-2. The June 4 game stretched scoreless into 15 innings, requiring two scorebook pages to document the outing. Tommie Agee scored the winning run on an error to give the Mets a 1-0 victory.
