Though he was better known for his skills on the hill, Tom Seaver could make plate appearances count. As a rookie on May 17, 1967, Seaver had a productive day in the box with a single, a pair of RBI doubles, a walk and a stolen base. He struck out 6 in the complete game effort, but the Mets fell to the Atlanta Braves on the road, 4-3. Seaver later signed this bat, noting his National Baseball Hall of Fame status.
