Just Batty for Baty

Brett Baty was a top prospect who made quite an impact in his MLB debut. Baty homered on his first swing in the big leagues, driving a pitch out to right field for a two-run home run. Baty also played a solid third base – pictured here – as the Mets topped the Atlanta Braves on the road, 9-7. “I’ve always tried to hit the ball hard all over the field, and I figured it was going to come soon enough,” Baty said of his power.
