Is It Pete, Or The Polar Bear?

Todd Frazier saw Pete Alonso come into Spring Training in 2019 and simply said the young first baseman “looked like a polar bear.” Alonso has leaned into his nickname, and the Mets had fun with this removable polar bear head nodder to honor the Rookie of the Year and two-time Home Run Derby champion.
