Mets Provide Fireworks for Bicentennial

The Mets joined the bicentennial festivities with a colonial-themed Mr. Met on the cover of the 1976 yearbook. The players provided the fireworks that season: Tom Seaver led the league in strikeouts, Jerry Koosman was a 21-game winner and four Mets batters recorded 100-plus hits.
