Though Ray Knight played only 254 games as a Met from 1984 to 1986, he earned the ultimate honor of World Series MVP. Knight led the Mets with 9 hits in the 1986 Series, including a critical home run in Game 7 to help the Mets pull away from the Boston Red Sox for the win.
