An Amazin’ 1969 Mets World Series Shutout

The Mets won 5-0 over the Baltimore Orioles in Game 3 of the 1969 World Series, the first Fall Classic win at Shea Stadium. On hand was New York Post reporter Maury Allen, who kept score while strong Mets pitching and defense kept the Orioles off the board.
