Left fielder Benny Agbayani played for the Mets from 1998 to 2001, including 22 postseason games. Mets fans remember his incredible effort in Game 3 of the 2000 NLDS against the San Francisco Giants. The game extended nearly five and a half hours into the 13th inning with the score deadlocked at 2-2. With one out in the bottom of the frame, Agbayani connected on the second pitch and sent it to deep left-center to end the marathon outing in fantastic fashion. The Mets would sweep the series and advance to the 2000 World Series.
