Mets 2015 and 2016 Postseason Runs

The New York Mets got hot in 2015 and 2016, and their postseason runs reminded everyone that you can never count out the Mets. After dispatching the LA Dodgers in the NLDS and the Chicago Cubs in the NLCS, the Mets returned to the World Series in 2015 where they ultimately fell to the Kansas City Royals. The following season the Mets once again played into October but lost to the San Francisco Giants in the NL Wild Card game. Thankfully, with each new season hope springs eternal. So maybe, just maybe, this will be the year they bring home a third World Series trophy.
