No one knew what was coming, of course, but the 1969 Mets Press-Radio-TV Guide gave fans all the information they’d need to purchase tickets, as well as the team’s radio and TV broadcast schedule. Luckily for local fans, 117 of the 162 games that year would be broadcast on TV on WOR Channel 9. Plenty of fans took advantage of this as the Mets put together their first winning season — and their first world championship!
