Tom Seaver’s First Win With the Mets

The Mets introduced Tom Seaver to The Show at the start of the 1967 season. Seaver recorded his first career win on April 20, a 6-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs at home. He notched 5 strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings pitched. Seaver would go 16-13 that season, earning the NL Rookie of the Year Award.
