SEAVER DELIVERS A STRIKE AT SHEA STADIUM

Tom Seaver was good at winning games, and he did so often. He posted 198 wins as a Met, the most in franchise history. In all, Seaver reached 311 career wins, making him one of just a couple dozen pitchers in MLB history to hit the 300-victory mark.
