Rusty Staub Mets Hall of Fame Plaque

Rusty Staub was traded to the Mets in 1972 as the team tried to recapture the postseason magic of 1969. He helped the Mets to their second World Series appearance in 1973. Staub’s 4 home runs in the postseason were not enough to win the title, but his all-out effort permanently endeared him to the Mets faithful.
