METS LEVEL THE SCORE IN GAME 2 OF ’69 WS
Date: October 12, 1969
After losing the first game of the 1969 World Series to the Baltimore Orioles, the Mets evened things up in Game 2 with a 2-1 win on the road. New York Post reporter Maury Allen circled on his scorecard Donn Clendenon’s fourth-inning home run, which was one of three longballs Clendenon hit in the Series.
