METS HALL OF FAME PLAQUE OF THE SAVES LEADER

For 14 seasons, John Franco was a fixture in the Mets bullpen. His 276 saves and 695 appearances remain Mets records, and his 1,119 appearances across three franchises is tops in National League history. Beyond his contributions on the mound, Franco was the heart of the team and he served as team captain throughout the 1990s.
