Scorecard: Cubs End 1969 Mets Win Streak

The Mets took two of three games against the Chicago Cubs in a July home series, and a seven-game win streak came to an end with a loss on July 10. During that game, the Cubs rallied in the 5th inning to take the lead and the win, 6-2. Spirits were still high in New York, however; Tom Seaver threw a near-no-hitter the previous game on July 9.
