Marching Forward

To start the pre-game ceremonies, the color guard marched methodically from the left field wall to the infield grass behind the pitcher’s mound. As the color guard made its way to the infield, Mets PA announcer Roger Luce set the tone for the entire evening when he exclaimed, “We return to our national pastime, in part, to show that America can and will go on.”
