Lynch Joins the Hometown Team

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Westchester County, Ed Lynch made his MLB debut with the hometown Mets in 1980. In 98 starts, the right-handed pitcher collected 38 wins with the club, using exquisite command and consistency rather than overpowering stuff.
