LIGHTER WITH METS 1969 SCHEDULE
In the late 1960s, 45 percent of all American adults smoked. So, a schedule dating every Mets home game on the back of a cigarette lighter was a handy way to keep one’s calendar organized. Several times a day a fan could fill the time of a smoke break by studying the season and anticipating upcoming games.
