Kooz Gets His Due

Jerry Koosman, the steady lefty, was a two-time All-Star pitcher and a key part of the Mets 1969 World Series Champion and 1973 NL pennant-winning teams. Koosman’s bobblehead night came with the Brooklyn Cyclones almost 55 years from his first major league start for the Mets on September 17, 1967.
