Andres Gimenez had a short but memorable tenure with the Mets. The speedy shortstop made his MLB debut with the team while wearing this jersey on July 24. He’d go on to appear in 49 outings during the 60-game season. The rookie posted a respectable .263 batting average and led the team with eight stolen bases but was traded in the offseason for another fast shortstop: Francisco Lindor.
