By the end of the 2018 season, Mets fans had seen enough to declare that Jacob deGrom was the top pitcher in the league. With an MLB-best 1.70 ERA and a team-best 269 strikeouts, deGrom was named NL Cy Young Award winner. That certainly was enough to deLight Mets rooters!
