Carlos Beltran signed a New York Cubans jersey, possibly during one of the several occasions in the 2000s when the Mets paid tribute to the historic club by wearing jerseys inspired by the team. The Cubans played in the Negro Leagues from 1935 to 1936 and 1939 to 1950.
